Keeping you informed: COVID-19

The health and safety of our employees and customers is of the utmost importance. As the situation around COVID-19 continues to evolve, we want to let you know that AGHI Inc is closely monitoring the situation. To that end we have instituted new inspection protocols which take effect immediately:

• We will include cleaning and disinfecting products in our tool kit, including such things as hand soap, hand sanitizer, disposable hand towels, disinfecting spray and/or wipes, gloves, masks, shoe covers, etc.
• We will wear new, disposable gloves during each inspection
• We will avoid any physical contact; always maintaining a 2-meter distance from others
• We will clean and disinfect our tools before and after every inspection
• We will wash our hands thoroughly with soap and warm water after each inspection
• We will ask realtors to disclose any party that may be at risk or unwell recognizing that symptoms may be delayed, or information may not be available
• We will limit inspection attendance as much as possible; review inspection reports by phone or teleconference or on-site observing the 2-meter distance from others
• Postpone or cancel any work if we feel unwell or unsafe

Home Inspectors are an Essential Service under the Government of Ontario list of essential workplaces in response to COVID-19 (2019 novel coronavirus). The pandemic is a rapidly changing crisis.
